Miss Kreutz has been telling me all about the wonderful work that you have been doing in second grade. She also told me how excited you have been for these past two weeks with the Olympics in Canada going on. That got me to wondering what your favorite event was from the Olympics, and why?
As for me, my favorite event from the Winter Olympics is snowboard cross. It is a new event in the Winter Olympics this year, but is very interesting to watch. It is exciting because there are four athletes racing each other to the bottom of a very snowy mountain. I sit on the edge of my seat wondering who will win each event. It is impressive how good the athletes balance is. I hope one day that I will learn how to snowboard, too.
